Jazz and Pop Performance

The department has two recording studios, as well as a multimedia workstation. Students in years two and three have the chance to take studio courses or contemporary classical composition

Students in year three can take the commercial composition course which can include any style of popular music or music for film, multimedia, theatre etc.

Students who have taken this course have gone on study composing at postgraduate level or have started to work as professional composers
