Pete Thomas

Pete Thomas has composed widely for TV and film, including Dry Blackthorn, Holsten Pils and Pantene commercials, and featured music for the Michael Caine movie Blue Ice. He was recently commissioned to score a series of documentaries for Channel 4 Cutting Edge.

He composed the Music Live 95 theme and series of promotional station idents for Radios 1, 2, 3 and 4. He also composed the themes and underscore for London Radio Services programmes, syndicated to 1250 radio sations per week around the world.

Production music credits include The Cosby Show, Eurotrash and Monkey Business (Meridian TV). He has also worked in pop production, including PJ Harvey, the Vulcans and Adamski.

Pete has recently resigned from the university following a dispute. The University have settled and issued the following statement:

"In October 2003, Mr P Thomas submitted a Grievance to the University. Following mutual and amicable discussions, and an apology from the University, Mr Thomas has accepted that apology and settled his Grievance but has decided to return to his work as a composer full-time from 19 March 2004."
